The Alvan Homes Process
Preliminary Phase: Pre-design and feasibility meeting
Come into our office and we’ll discuss your vision for the renovation. We’ll show you some of our past projects and help you understand the bigger picture with a ‘feasibility study’ which will include a breakdown of costs, timeline, development scenarios, permitting, and more.
Phase 2: Permit Drawings and construction drawings
This phase includes:
- Construction drawing for permit needed in Vancouver
- Development permit (depending on location and zoning in Vancouver)
- Structural engineering Landscape design
Phase 3: Interior design
This phase includes:
- Interior design plan (including floor, tile, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing fixtures, accents)
- Interior design preliminary budgeting
- Detailed drawings (including millwork)
- Formulating electrical and lighting plans Formulating plumbing plans
- Tile Selection and drawings
- Translating to detailed specification sheets for construction
